Fwd: got tickets to the celtics vs. the bobcats game last week. it was lucas’s and alejandro’s first NBA game! they loved it and now are looking to buy tickets for another game. i always love the energy brought on to the basketball court.
because this game pierce was going to pass larry bird and become the second all-time leading scorer in celtics history, the crowd was ready the whole time. he gained that position after hitting a solid three. the whole crowd went wild and gave him a standing ovation. i got chills. at the next time-out, they showed a tribute of key plays by pierce over the years.
definitely a great moment to be a celtics fan.
