Fwd: the next morning after staying in the bedouin tents, we had to wake up extra early to ride the camels in the desert! each camel took two people. before going on the israel trip, lucas told me to beware of how the camel gets up/sits down. you think you’re about to fall off, but you won’t! i made sure i held on extra good. all the camels in our line were tied together. i had recently seen the awful movie “the dictator” and just pictured myself riding my camel in times square like sacha baron cohen does for the movie.
i was beyond happy that we could do this!
